Groundbreaking of MainStreet America® a Huge Success

On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, MainStreet America® held a groundbreaking ceremony at its new 14-acre site located at 18750 Interstate 45 North.  Gathered on the newly formed building pad and future site to MainStreet America’s Guest Center, more than 200 guests celebrated the official start of the new multi-million dollar perpetual showcase of homes and home product theme park.

Design Tech Homes, architectural designer and home construction company for MainStreet America’s 12 showcase homes, was host of the afternoon event. It was well attended by dignitaries, media, investors, and both local and national manufacturers, many of whom are already partnering with MainStreet America®. Others gathered eager to learn more about the unique, multi-faceted project and share in the excitement that has only begun, but sure to continue well beyond its projected grand opening date of Summer 2012.
